Your Administration has brought us great achievements, Kogi league of Imam hail Gov. Bello
The League of Imam, Kogi State has applauded Governor Yahaya Bello, stating that his Administration has brought them great achievements.
They said this on Thursday at the banquet hall, Government House in Lokoja, while they paid Eid Celebration courtesy visit to the Governor.
The Leader of the Nigerian League of Imam, Kogi State Chapter Imam Yusuf Abdallah who spoke on behalf of other Imams appreciated the Governor for the good works in the State and kind gestures to various religion in the State.

In his response Governor Bello thanked the Imams for their support, stating that their spiritual prayers and teachings across the State have been very helpful in maintaining peace.
He said he was in recent times constantly on the move to fight for what would benefit the State and the civil servants.
The Governor pointed out that such effort yielded positive results as civil servants received two month salaries before the Eid Fitr celebration, while he assured that as soon as the state was able to access the remaining bail out fund all issues would be sorted.
Governor Bello emphasized that the State has enjoyed relative peace and togetherness among religious groups in the State, while he encouraged that such feet should be maintained.

He used the medium to distance himself from a circulated poster carrying his image beside that of Prophet Mohammed (SAW), stating that He claimed to be equal with the Holy Prophet.
Governor Bello revealed that such was the handy work of mischief makers who would always without the fear of God but for political gain go the extra mile to mislead the people to score cheap political points.
Governor Bello noted that as a well trained and devoted Muslim, he was well aware that no man could be equated to the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him).
He said as the Governor of the State, he would continue to resist temptations and provocations to ensure that the State enjoys peace, unity and safety.
