HEART ACT OR ART ACT?
During bad times
I have always had this peace in my heart
I wouldn't call it happiness or being safe
Just more of an inner-balance
That was mingling with whatsoever was occurring
Art walks in stylishly with all its make-over and polished deceit
Plays hide and seek with my illumining smiles and my heart streaming tears
Art gives a Joy that is almost pain
Comes with poems that only more nor less trigger aching memories
We depend so much on art that we fail to act
Should my heart act or Art act?
There are no limits of the heart
Art resides in the heart with no boundaries
Drills us through and through
I am art's own true lover
But I must say not Art but Heart wins the wide world over.
