This morning, a program was held in faculty of law LT1 by BF SUMA (Brighter life). The theme was "sentization on BF SUMA and wealth sttrategies". The program started by 11:00am with opening prayers and not less than 100 students at the Start. It was followed by a seminar " health is wealth " which I greatly learned from.
During "Health is wealth" seminar, the panelist started with telling its audience that he would like to earn in the united state and spend in Nigeria, and in the other way round, he can also chose to work in Nigeria and spend in Zimbabwe due to the exchange rate of the countries involved. He gave outlines and strategies of wealth attainment in Nigeria. He explained in great detail with pictorial slide on how an about to be graduate can escape the bandwagon of the unemployed population in this teeming economy. He gave lot of statistics about kogi state economy, I wouldn't know that most kogi state civil servant do not own a house of their own until when he mentioned it.
The program had in attendance who is who in kogi state university. It had the presence of Ajibodi Muniru who is the national director of action and mobility for NANS, the deputy governor of SUG in person of Thomas Simon Attah, Debbie Adeleke who is the treasurer of KSU SUG, Director of social 2 in person of Mohammed Sanusi (MoaSanz), David Oyibo who is a nutured resorce personnel and other SUG aspirants for 2018/2019 session.
The convener of BF SUMA; OTITONAYE WILFRED spoke to us about what BF SUMA entails. He stretched at length their focus on health and wealth, empowerment of student to make them self reliable now and for the future. Their aim is to ensure better health service for everyone around the world. He further promised the availability of Free HIV test, blood pressure test and distribution of free condoms during the course of the program.
