William Folorunso Kumuyi (born half dozen Gregorian calendar month 1941) is that the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry placed at metric linear unit forty two on the Lagos-Ibadan motorway, Nigeria. he's the author of many books.
Kumuyi was born into a Christian family in Erin-Ijesha, of Osun State.He completed his lyceum education in 1961, and in 1962 started teaching arithmetic at Mayflower college in Ikenne, Ogun-State, from wherever he proceeded to the University of city and in 1967 graduated with a superior honours in arithmetic. He became a born-again Christian in Apr 1964. within the early Seventies, Kumuyi worked as Associate in Nursing education lecturer at the University of Lagos.
Ministry
In 1973, whereas being a academic of arithmetic at the University of Lagos, William began a Bible study cluster with fifteen students WHO had return to him for Bible coaching. The Deeper Life Bible Ministry is thus supported. In 1975, he was expelled from his church for preaching on the sacrament of the Holy Spirit. He continued his freelance ministry, that in 1982 became the Deeper Life Bible Church.
Kumuyi remarried in Oct 2010 in London, regarding eighteen months when the death of his 1st married person, Abiodun Kumuyi, whom he married in 1980.
In Apr 2013, Kumuyi was named in concert of the "500 most powerful individuals on the planet" and Deeper Christian Life Ministry named as "the World's largest Megachurch" by policy magazine (FP).
