A ghastly motor accident occurred this morning before of the St Peter Catholic Church at Oko police headquarters off Dr. Alex Ekwueme’s residence on Umunze road Oko of Anambra state.
The accident that concerned a tipper and a trike, took the lives of 3 passengers that were within the trike at the time of this accident.
Two of the casualties died instantly whereas the opposite 2 which has the Keke driver were seriously cut.
According to AN watcher account, the tipper man was on a high speed once he ran over the Keke, whereas attempting to overtake another tipper and knocked the trike into the gutter, crushing all the occupants.
One of the dead casualties, a female, was known as Ogechi from Abakiliki, a final year student of Federal polytechnic institute Oko whereas the person known as Mma Emma from Nsukka was same to be a lady merchandising food on the brink of Oko poly.
It was gathered that the tipper driver and his bus conductor took to their heels and bumped into the closest police headquarters once the accident. Consequently, angry spectators needed to line the tipper aflame, however the police intervened and took the tipper to their station.
