Since the early 50s, there has been concerted and consistent efforts from all Igalas through the ICDA and other Igala sociocultural organizations to have for the Igala race a befitting convergent point solely for the advancement of the Igala kingdom.
Successive Igala administrations in the state right from the days of our father and leader His Excellency Prince Abubakar Audu (late) have tried fruitlessly to put up an edifice such as we now have and billed for commissioning today to no avail.
Though, the late Prince initiated the project, he never lived to see same actualised.
An illustrious son of the soil, an Ogugu born with very strong ancestral connection to Idah (home to all bonafide Igala aborigines), took the bull by the horn to lead the project to full actualisation.
And today, God and the ancestors of our great kingdom made him (Edward Onoja) to scale every huddle of bickering, falsehood, hate, ignorance, pull him down syndrome and obvious witchcraft dispositions to help bring the project to limelight.
Suffice to say, governance is continuum.
Chief Edward David Onoja (CEDO), has through the instrumentality of his office as the Chief of Staff (COS) to the very young, energetic and workaholic Governor of our dear state, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello made the project that has often times eluded completion even while we had Governors of our tribe at the helm of affairs since 1991 possible.

This singular feat for our dear race by this humane son of ours deserves high commendation from all genuinely concerned Igalas rather than the coordinated shades of attacks I am seeing.

Have we taken our witchcraft dispositions to the peak to the extent that we cannot recognize good thing when we see one?
Need I remind us that, when you encourage a child for doing a good thing at a point, then, you would have psychologically succeeded in putting such a child on the path of productively humane thinking.
I therefore, call on our leaders, traditional rulers and genuine good sons and daughters of our great kingdom to lend a supporting hand to their son (Edward Onoja). That alone will spore him to do more for our people without a second thought.

And to those youths who have deliberately put on the garment of hate, witchcraft and the pull him down disposition, please, sheath your sharp swords of "why must he be the one", " if not me, nobody should do it" for the sake of God, humanity and the Igala kingdom.
Politics has an atmosphere, but the atmosphere is transient. But, the strong brotherhood that binds us is sempiternal and stays after we are long gone.
Chief Edward David Onoja (CEDO), our son and brother may have his flaws. But, the onus is on us to correct him, support and encourage him to the path of productively humane disposition or we choose the otherwise.

Many thanks to HRM Attah Igala and Chairman Kogi State Traditional Council Dr. Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni II (Chancellor Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State), the ICDA leadership and all other illustrious Igala sons and daughters who made the project a big reality today.
