Naomi: Damn it! The second time really!?
Devin: Wait this has happened before (knock knock)
Naomi: Who is it!?
Zuki: It's Zee, you're needed in the board room!
Naomi: Shit what time is it (looks at her phone) damn it, damn it damn it! I'll be there in 5minutes, I can never catch a break (says frustratingly) where is my... There it it (picks up her underwear) uhmmm. You need to hide, minutes after I heard out you need to leave!
Devin: (smiles) Yes Ma'am, hey? (Pulls Naomi closer and kisses her)

As Naomi rushes to the boardroom she bumps into Kenneth on the corridor

Naomi: Yeah sure (heads to the boardroom)
After the meeting Naomi packs up and heads to Kenneth's office. She knocks.
Kenneth: Come in! Hey
Naomi: Hey Ken.
Kenneth: Please take a sit (Naomi takes a sit)
Naomi: Alright (takes a sit) what did you want to run past me?
Kenneth: (takes a sit in the couch next to Naomi) Nay I'm a mess of a man, I've been foolish and insensitive towards you and your needs, I know I've neglected you this past few months, or years but I've been trying to build this for us it destructed me for a while but look at where our company is at now, all the blood sweat, tears and hard work was worth it. It doesn't mean I don't notice you or love you
Naomi: Kenny.. Here's the thing, you think this is all about your devotion to your work but you forget that your work ethic is one of the things that made me love you, your leadership skills, your drive but it never hindered you from asking how my day was or noticing my new hairstyle, it never prevented you from giving me a kiss or even easier a hug (sighs) You called out another woman's name during sex, you called out your ex
Kenneth: I know I know and there's nothing I can say or do that can justify that, it was reckless insensitive and I imagine painful for you
Naomi: It was, it is. It shows that you're not happy with me Ken you love me that I believe but you're no longer attracted to me (Tears up)
Kenneth: Of course I'm attracted to you, you are the love of my life, you are all I've ever wanted all I'd ever need, I have loved you from the first day I saw you, and I will love you until the day my heart gives out after that I will love you in the next world, you are all that drove me to be the man I am today
Naomi: Then why don't you want to start a family with me, why don't you want to talk about having kids with me, I mean as soon as I stopped the pill you started using a condom, since when do we use condoms Kenneth, since when can't you have sex without it
Kenneth: I just don't think this is the right time Nay.
Naomi: And when will the right time be then huh? When we're both old, wrinkled and too old to have our own kids, if you didn't realise we are not getting any younger, I want kids Kenneth! Be honest with me do you want to start a family with me?
Kenneth: (Holds Naomi's hand) I do but I'm afraid
Naomi: Afraid of what?
Kenneth: I'm afraid I might turn into my father, and you might be a version of my mother resenting your own child because of an insensitive man who chose to neglect the responsibility of being a father, or we might split apart and raise our kids in a broken family
Naomi: That's the problem with you Kenny, you always assume the worst in everything and fail to look at the positive, how will this relationship work if you keep expecting it to fail? We have been together for years, we stood against all odds and built a home, an empire. Yet what's a home without family?
Kenneth: I'm sorry my angel, please forgive me.(kneels) I promise from now on I will listen to, I will give you my attention, i will cherish you daily, shower you with gifts, I will remind you what you mean to me each morning you wake and every night we go to sleep, i will be the father of your kids and I will love them with my whole heart but all that starts when you come home, please come home baby!
Naomi: I don't know Kenny, I just don't...

Naomi: Can I at least think about it?
Kenneth: (gets up) What's there to think about, don't you want to be with me anymore?
Here's the thing, Naomi wasn't stressed about the idea of going home, she thought to herself how to begin explaining to Kenneth that she slept with someone else, that it was on their company and that person she slept with happened to be the artist they just signed and celebrated, how will she begin to explain that?
She has a date with the guy later today, not really a date but a booty call but if she wants to start fixing things with Kenneth she will have to tell Kenneth the truth and knowing him he will throw a large tantrum and all hell will break loose, he will retaliate 'this is not good for us or the company' she thinks to herself
Naomi: I do Kenny, can we talk about this later when we are not at work
Kenneth: Yeah we can talk about this home (pouts)
Naomi: Sure, I have work to do see you later (hugs Kenneth and exits his office).
The day goes by at work, none of them can really get work done, Naomi is stressed about her current situation and what she has to choose later. The time comes Kenneth finds Naomi sitting with a few colleagues around the parking lot, he approaches her and says "hey" she greets back and he says "let's go, I got a surprise for you", "actually I'm not going going Ken you can go though I'll see you tomorrow" she says,
Kenneth tightly holds Naomi's hand "come on let's go" he says, "no" she replies, he tries to pull her hand and she pulls back, their employees are starring at them Kenneth looks around and realises sees he's just embarrassing himself and Naomi is not willing to fix things, he let's go and goes to his car starts it and leaves
On that day Naomi took an Uber and it drove him straight to Devin's place, the moment he opened the door she was on him, the whole night they were on each others body's, she made up for all lost time, each night her needs where not met she made up for that, each day she had to fake an orgasm, each day she he saw him as the sexiest man on earth, new research proved wrong so she made up for that to
She ordered food to be delivered the next day and drinks for hydration, she thought you know what I'm getting myself some weed I'm not even going to work either, they stayed indoors and it was sex after sex after sex they didn't even get to talk much, she was not gonna worry about her marriage or Kenneth she will deal with that when the time comes but for now her she had a thirst that needed quenching and urges that needed to be taken care of.
Time passed and she went home while Devin slept, took a very warm bath, a deep comforting and relaxing bath, after that she went to her bedroom put her clothes on and texted Kenneth suggesting they meet at her new place, Kenneth being so eager to fix things hurried to get there and was still upset about what had happened the night before, but for the sake of his marriage and their love he promised himself he would not fight her not question her about the night before.
See love is a very fickle little creature, love is a mess. This puts pressure on both parties if Naomi tells Kenneth everything is he going to forgive her because they were not in a good place, because he loves her, because when he said he loves her he meant that shit? Or is he going to go into a rage, go on a rampage and go after Devin, he could even hit her, the possibilities are endless.
But if she doesn't will she spend her time asking herself if Devin's tongue might slip today every time he and Kenneth are in a room together, and what if he slips up when she's around will she deny it or will she agree and if so what will happen to their marriage, will he look at her the same knowing that she slept with their new high earned artist?
Of course there's also they possibility that after such a great day with Devin, after she released all her frustrations without interruption this time, finally! She has decided she is done and wants to live a new life as a single woman and find a man who she doesn't have to coach on how to be a good man to her, a new start for her, she was gonna see him at work obviously but she would be happy. Which decision will she take?
