Kenneth: You're not worth the effort, You're pathetic!
Naomi: Well I want to do it again, just until we've fixed our current issues
Kenneth: And what will I do while you are banging this dude huh? Pick up his left overs.
The funny part about anger is that it makes you do the most stupid of things, say the worst things, mostly words you can't take back. It gets to a point where the recipient of the negative energy you're releasing to think you don't care, sometimes it makes you childish and drives you into doing things you wouldn't do if you were a hundred percent sane, mostly because we care, we expected the most from someone even if we are the reason they did what they did or didn't do, we never expect them to hurt us so we cannot stomach the betrayal, we feel like there's nothing that hurts more and nothing may ever pacify us. Ego and pride doesn't help in those situations
But no matter how angry you are you are gonna cool down and when you do you are gonna reflect on what went wrong and realise it's all your fault! You screwed up that's why they screwed your women, that's why your man found another thing on the side, we often get lost in the idea of ourselves that we fail to realise that the actions we take also impact out loved ones.
You probably wondering how the hell is the opening chapter so short, what were we supposed to learn here? That's how it ends, really? This guy is not serious but chapter one summerised the of what happens after, each step from here, each event is rooted to what happened in chapter one and this night watered the first seed.
See the night before Kenneth had bought a ring, a big diamond ring and he had it engraved, written K4N within two hearts that are tangled together, so he took out his anger on it right in front of her, he smashed it with rocks but the ring held on. Crazy enough she saw the ring and she melted tried to fix what had happened, tried to get him to come down and talk to her so they can resolve this but Kenneth wouldn't have it, he couldn't digest what he heard quite well, who can blame him I'd go on a rampage too, to think that I have been feeling sorry for my wrongs and tried to fix things but got two timed
Infact I went through that and a lot if not most of us have gone through that, we do one thing and these women retaliate with a very sacred level of trust, they violate the basic premise of the love, but who are we to blame them or even trust them, who are to devote our time and effort getting to know a person just to entrust them with a heart they will eventually break and claim it was not their intention!
But I guess we are their greatest teachers, we use the same excuse for the smallest of wrongs and they reserve the excuse for such big fuck ups, question is do we accept what they had done and work on fixing the relationship or do we become hypocrites and never accept the reason we ourselves expect them to accept?
The difference is women are like sheep's, they can feel pain, they do also feel as we do but they are blessed with the ability to bare it, the ability to look at the positives, stay behind her man and still love him passionately, they will never forget but they will believe that you had made a mistake and that you have seen your wrongs. But ask another man what he would do and that's probably a deal breaker no matter how long they've known one another or what they have built together it matters not, I'm not saying all men would do that some do forgive but social has rendered that man as a weak man, a man who is whipped or clings on to a woman, if you get to Africa some friends or families might say "Oh he was fed a love potion" well... That's stupid! they're stupid.
Oh yeah where was I, so Kenneth and Naomi start going at it, redirecting blame, neither feels the need to apologize or forgive
Kenneth: I don't even want to see you near me, please leave the sight of you makes my stomach boil with disgust
Naomi: (shocked) Wow! I never thought you were the person I'd hear hose words from.
Kenneth: I never thought you were this loose!
Naomi: I can't deal with this, I gotta... i gotta go
Kenneth: I don't give a crap, infact this is your place I'm leaving go and be with your new man, we're are over.
Naomi: (Pauses) He Is not my new man it was strictly sex, purely physical, I needed someone to see me and want me
Kenneth: I thought you said you can't deal with this, we're are done! Justifying this won't make any difference, to think I thought you had morals, people were right about you when we met, they saw you for who you are, a poor excuse for a woman. I'm glad I opened my eyes(walks out)
Naomi bursts in tears, what Kenneth said hurt even more than his neglect, she knows she had done him wrong but for him to say things so hurtful? So she sobs herself to sleep, well she barely slept, she tossed she turned and relived that conversation over and over in her head, worst of all she had to see him tomorrow at work, even worse she's married to him.
Kenneth on the other went drinking, he became a typical cliche and went to the source of all his current troubles, he went to Christina's house, parked on her gateway for a while before he rang her bell, he was in pain and sometimes it takes fire to heal a cut, we got to burn it till you crave for it's taste,
Christina: (surprised) Uhm... Hey what are doing here?(smiles)

Christina: wait are you okay?
Kenneth: I don't know!
Christina: Oh okay. You hungry, Come in I've just put some food in the microwave
Kenneth: Yeah sure, thanks
Christina: Oh good you can still speak I thought you were going to say "I don't know" again
Kenneth: (laughs) I'm sorry, I went out to get some air and I guess every turn I took led me here
Christina: Take a sit. So tell me, what happened?
Kenneth: I don't wanna talk about it, though I think my marriage has ended.
Christina: What did you do
Kenneth: Nothing! This time it was done to me, I was betrayed by my wife and I needed someone to talk to, I needed you.
Christina: Oh grow up, you are Kenneth you always get even, you don't react well to being hurt, I bet even right now you thought you'd start your retaliation by seducing me so you can get even with her, meaning you still care and your marriage is not over, what hurts is you trying to use me this way is very disrespectful and cheap. I think you should leave!
Kenneth: No Tina, that's not why I...
Christina: Kenneth. Please. Leave!
Kenneth: (pause) I called out your name during sex.
Christina: (shocked) What?

Kenneth: I mean she started sleeping with some dude and last night she called me to her place to gloat about it.
Christina: She did what, and what do you mean her place, you guys don't live together anymore?
Kenneth: Duh! So no the reason I'm here is not for revenge sex, it's because I've been thinking about you from that day, I've been craving for you, I dreamt of being inside you, next to you. I even found myself missing your touch
Christina: Thus bulldozing my name out loud during sex and destroying the very Foundation of your relationship, the chemistry.
Kenneth: I guess, but now that this has happened my guilt has faded, to think she might take half of my life work if I were to divorce her (sighs) I don't know what to do
Christina: Well luckily we are birds of a further so I say gather up evidence, monitor the evidence before she even serves you divorce papers it might help with your court
Kenneth: Good idea, I also need to find out who the guy is
Christina: And how is that gonna help, you might not like what you find out, I say let it go
