ABSTRACT

They have seen it happen
But it seems to be mere stories
It always happen when I'm asleep
Just before the break of dawn
"You should see this for yourself"
So like a vigilante
I braced myself for the night
Was full of beans
One long stick on my right
A hunter torch on my left
I panted
Tensed up
Took frequent short walk
What shall I see
Its today or never
So the hour came
The cats scrambled for the dark
I stood upright
Where's this coming from
Then a fierce breeze came through
It lifted the window blinds
Made those Nollywood tragic moment sound track
I was alert and shaky
I took a glimpse of the nearest exit
This does not look like a storm
So I kid out
I ll tell my story in the morning
I won't say my heart failed
Someone else should also see it happen
I have seen mine.
