Akankẹ̀

Akankẹ̀

Akanke the golden maiden of my town,
Her ẹ́rìn musẹ́ intoxicates my sight,
Should I tell you about her glowing skin,
That is shinning like Koroẹṣhin...

Wailers call her Akankẹ̀ egbin
For her beauty is just like ẹ́yẹ́ ọ̀kin
Akankẹ̀, the pulchritudinous lady
Whose beaded waist drives men crazy...

She's a rottweiler
Whose tongue feast on scuzzy words
Indeed, she's a peacock,
For her proudness is second to none...

Cross her lane and hear the tale of your ugly life.
Cheeky fishwife
Who has got razor in her mouth.
She's as hardworking as a drone,
A coddled princess in her father's home...

Who will pay the bride price
Of Akankẹ, abuni bi ẹni n la'yin?
Who will groom the ugly beautiful model?
Who will marry the mannerless maiden?
